The Open Table

If you're a coach, we'd like to put a ball in your hands.

Seven years ago, we started making soccer balls by hand in a small workshop in the Colombian Andes. Not because the world needed another soccer brand, but because we believed the game deserved one that was built differently. Slowly. Carefully. By people who are paid well and treated right.

The No. 152 took five years and 152 prototypes to get right. It's hand-stitched from 1.5mm PU leather and Italian waxed thread by master ballmakers who've spent their lives perfecting this craft. Every ball takes about three hours. There are no shortcuts in those three hours.

We know the cycle. You buy a bag of training balls at the start of the season. A few months in, the stitching loosens, the shape goes soft, the bladders won't hold air. By spring you're back at the store, buying more. That cycle is the hidden cost of quantity over quality. Every coach knows it.

We'd like to offer something different. If you're a coach, we'll send you a No. 152. Put it in your bag alongside whatever you're currently training with. Not for a session, but for seasons. We believe this ball will outlast every other ball on your field.

If it doesn't, we want to hear about it. And if it does, just tell a colleague. That's all we'd ask.

From the Field

"I can't say enough about how great these balls have been. Not just for me as a coach in terms of longevity, but the players love them. They feel great coming off the foot, whether they're shooting or passing. From one coach to another: invest in quality instead of quantity."

After five months training with Select, Nike, and Hayworth balls side by side, his Select and Nike balls were falling apart. His Hayworth looked almost new.

What we care about is time. What happens over months of real use. How the touch develops. How the stitching holds. Whether the shape stays true long after the new has worn off. That's where the No. 152 earns its place. Not in a showcase, but across a whole season of training.

We're not here to tear anyone down. We just believe there's room at the table for something made by hand, made to last, and made by people who are paid what their work is worth.

We're a small company. If too many of you write in, we may have to take this page down for a while. That would be a wonderful problem to have.
